The AOM LUXE process

From a thought to something tangible.

A clear, collaborative path from your first reference to a design you can review and take into production.

Four considered steps · Two revision rounds

Built around your brief

Clear steps. Careful decisions.

Custom jewellery is a partnership between an idea and the hands that will bring it to life. We keep each stage visible, so you can share input, understand what is happening, and feel confident before the next step begins.

The process

The process

  1. Jeweller's hands holding a ring and setting tool at the bench

    Step 01 of 04

    Share the brief

Send a sketch, photo, reference, or client notes. Together we confirm dimensions, metal, stone measurements, setting direction, and the files your maker needs.

    A useful starting point

    • Sketches or reference photos
    • Stone sizes and ring measurements
    • Metal, finish, and setting preferences
  2. Measured CAD views of a pavé ring showing the top, front, side and profile with dimensions

    Step 02 of 04

    Shape the design in CAD

With the direction agreed, we build the piece in Rhino or Matrix. Stone fit, wall thickness, clearances, setting geometry, and practical construction are considered as the model takes shape.

    What we resolve

    • Proportion and side profile
    • Stone seats, prongs, and clearances
    • Construction details for bench review
  3. CAD review screen showing a bypass ring in four views with its gem and metal weight report

    Step 03 of 04

    Review and refine

We share clear views so you and your client can assess the silhouette, scale, stone placement, and small details before committing to production. Two revision rounds are included.

    Your review can cover

    • Overall form and scale
    • Setting and stone arrangement
    • Requested refinements before sign-off
  4. Finished white gold pavé dome band render

    Step 04 of 04

    Receive the final files

After sign-off, we prepare the agreed 3DM, STL, and presentation views for handover. Your printer, caster, setter, or manufacturer can continue with a clear view of the approved design.

    Typical handover

    • Rhino 3DM working model
    • STL for an agreed print workflow
    • Approved preview views for reference

At the finish line

Ready for the next hands.

Once you approve the design, we'll send the agreed files and presentation views. Your jeweller, caster, or manufacturer can take it from there.

  • Rhino 3DM model
  • STL for printing and casting workflows
  • Clear design preview views

A good place to start

Tell us what you're imagining.

You don't need a perfect sketch or all the answers. Bring the idea you have and we'll help work through the detail together.
